BUSINESS CONTINUITY AND CRISIS PLANNING

UPitt Ready is the University of Pittsburgh's resource and planning tool to help schools, departments and individual units maintain their academic and business continuity in a time of crisis. What exactly is academic and business continuity? Continuity planning will help the University continue its operations and services in the face of a disruptive or catastrophic event and recover from the event.  The longer an institution takes to recover, the greater damage it sustains to its reputation. At Pitt, we call this plan UPitt Ready. More information, including an FAQ, can be found on our site.

For more information or questions regarding a problem, contact Charlyn Loera, the University's business continuity manager, at cjl124@pitt.edu.
